Keyboard layouts for Windows: Inverted pan-iberian (version 1.1).

This layout is identical to the pan-iberian layout, except for one difference: the base and Shift keystrokes corresponding to the keys ·, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, ` (grave accent), ^ (circumflex accent) and ~ (tilde) have been inverted. This layout may be more comfortable for users [usually programmers] that type the characters \, *, -, +, $, %, <, >, =, (, ), /, & and | more often than the mentioned digits and diacritics.

Note: there's another difference: the keystrokes AltGr‑4+4, AltGr‑4+8, AltGr‑4+9 and AltGr‑4+0 have been changed to AltGr‑4+$, AltGr‑4+=, AltGr‑4+( [left parenthesis] and AltGr‑4+) [right parenthesis], so the result will be the same (to output the characters ¤, ₠, ₰ and ₳, respectively).

Version history.

The current version of this layout is 1.1, dated april/2009. The differences from the previous version (1.0, dated february/2009) are the same ones that were made in version 1.1 of the pan-iberian layout (except for the AltGr‑4+8, AltGr‑4+9 and AltGr‑4+0 keystrokes, which have been replaced by AltGr‑4+=, AltGr‑4+( [left parenthesis], and AltGr‑4+) [right parenthesis]).

This layout can be installed on Windows operating systems (2000, XP, Server 2003 and Vista) using the inverted pan-iberian layout installer.
